Role Overview
The Officer – Production (Mammalian) is responsible for ensuring efficient and compliant manufacturing operations across multiple production stages. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GxP, and Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) regulations
- Complete training on relevant SOPs and execute tasks as per defined procedures, reporting deviations when necessary
- Plan and manage departmental activities in alignment with delivery schedules
- Ensure availability and proper handling of raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QC, R&D, Engineering, and QA for seamless operations
- Maintain hygiene, discipline, and adherence to current good manufacturing practices
- Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials while managing inventory effectively
- Conduct investigations into deviations, non-conformities, and complaints, and implement CAPA
- Oversee validation activities and prepare/review qualification documents
- Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues and support change control implementation
- Support quality management systems and promptly report discrepancies or incidents
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Head
