Job Overview:

• Position: Scientific Assistant Job (Genetic Counsellor – Cancer Genetics)

• Location: Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre, Varanasi

• Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 25,000 – 30,000

• Number of Posts: 1

• Age Limit: 35 years (as on interview date)

• Employment Type: Contract basis via M/s. SBC Exports Ltd.

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc, B.Tech, BA, or equivalent degree in Human/Medical Genetics, Life Sciences, Nursing, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related fields.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in patient counselling, preferably cancer patients or genetic counselling.

• Candidates with prior experience in Scientific Assistant Jobs or hospital/clinical settings will be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities for Scientific Assistant Job:

• Provide genetic counselling to cancer patients and their families.

• Maintain accurate patient records and case histories.

• Coordinate with clinical and laboratory teams to ensure smooth patient support.

• Follow hospital protocols and adhere to ethical standards in patient care.

• Assist in educational sessions for patients and staff regarding cancer genetics.
