NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) Invites applications for the post of Research Associate-I (Project) under the DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance project entitled “Study of neuronal regeneration using C. elegans”.

No. of positions: 01 (One)
Essential Qualification:
- Ph. D. / MD / MS / MDS or equivalent degree
- Having 03 years of research, teaching, and design and development experience after MVSc. / M. Pharm / ME / M. Tech
- At least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Desirable Qualification / Experience:
- Experience in Neuroscience and Genetics is needed.
- Expertise in molecular cloning for transgenic work, biochemistry is preferred.
Duties: Expected to work independently using C. elegans model and nervous system function.
Fellowship: 50,000/- per month (Consolidated). No other allowances /
benefits will be admissible.
Upper Age limit: 40 years
Project Investigator: Prof. Anindya Ghosh Roy, Scientist VI, NBRC
Tenure: Appointment will be made on a contract basis, initially for one year. Continuation of appointment will depend upon satisfactory performance during the appointment period and validity of the project. The post is co-terminus with the project.
