RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Duration: The position is originally for one year however extendable for a further period based on requirements. On Completion of two years, the JRF will certainly be upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) based upon satisfactory performance and assessment through Expert Committee.

How to Apply:

1. Date as well as Venue of Interview: 15th June 2021, via online (VC), from 11.00 AM onwards at Arunachal Pradesh Regional Centre, Zoological Survey of India, Itanagar.
2. Age Limitation: Age will not be greater than thirty years as of the last date of application.
3. Shortlisted candidates will certainly be educated with e-mail and phone for appearing before the interview committee.
4. Applicants ought to send a scanned copy of the duly filled-in applications with self-attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications, research experience, proof for date of birth etc., in addition to copies of mark sheets of all exams.
5. The closing date for Submission of Online Application 11th June 2021.

Fellowship: Rs. 12,000/- +HRA and also if NET/GATE/All India Level Test Qualified applicant found suitable for the post, based on the MoEFCC norms.

Essential qualification: Master degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences with Zoology as a major subject B.Sc. from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks.

Desirable qualifications: Research experience in taxonomy, systematics, zoology or allied subject, field survey experience in wildlife as well as GIS mapping.
