Name of the Project: “Investigating gene regulatory networks operating downstream of OsAP2/ERF-40 during rice adventitious root development”
Duration: The initial appointment maybe for six months or based on the recommendation of the selection committee, which can be extended on the basis of the assessment of the applicant’s performance as well as discretion of the Competent Authority.

Salary: The fellowship will be based on sanction in the project and/or as per SERB guidelines.
Essential Qualifications:
Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc. degree or equivalent (with a minimum of 55% marks) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology or other related fields with NET/GATE qualification. Good computer skills (Linux, Perl, Java, Python, MySQL etc.), along with proven experience in NGS data analysis and/or bioinformatics is highly desirable.
