Designation: Research Assistant

Job Location: Bangalore

Department: Discovery Biology

Job Purpose:

The incumbent will be responsible for providing Laboratory Operations Support and perform Inventory Management activities for the respective R&D department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sample submission to various cross-functional departments and maintaining documents.
• Liquid nitrogen, dry ice and wet ice management for various experiments.
• Sample tube labelling and Pipette tip box filling.
• Buffer prep work according to experiment SOP.
• Training co-ordination for the technological team.
• Co-ordination of document review.
• Creating purchase requests and also coordinating receipt of the material.

Educational Qualification: B.Sc in Lifesciences or related disciplines

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Laboratory chemical/ material management.
• Instrument and logbook management.
• Ability to interact with cross-functional departments as well as provide support in a timely way.

Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience post qualification

Behavioural Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong team player, solution-oriented, strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational and also time-management abilities.
