Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing centralised operational monitoring activities on assigned studies using vendor platform dashboards and outputs in accordance with Novo Nordisk SOPs, ICH/GCP, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Utilise advanced data visualisation and analytics tools to identify risks and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide inputs to applications, databases, and systems used to monitor operational data.
  • Define and monitor standard and trial-specific Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) impacting patient safety, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate operational review findings to relevant stakeholders and participate in project meetings as the primary contact for assigned studies.
  • Share learnings and best practices with Centralised Monitoring Unit colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with global and local SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation across the department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Scientific, or Healthcare discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant Clinical Research experience.
  • Good understanding of the drug development process.
  • Experience with Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) principles and their application in clinical trial operations.
  • Prior CRA/Field Monitoring experience will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with CluePoints solutions is preferred.

Skills Needed

  • Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP E6 R2 & R3).
  • Understanding of clinical trial design, execution, and operations.
  • Experience in aggregate data review and interpretation using data visualisation and analytics software.
  • Basic knowledge of AI tools used in clinical operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Close attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
