Key Responsibilities
- Prepare media, reagents, and samples for microbiological testing.
- Perform aseptic techniques for sample handling and inoculation.
- Conduct standard microbiological tests like BET, Bioburden, MLT, Sterility, Environment monitoring
- Perform daily calibrations and media preparations
- Adhere to all safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Participate in equipment calibration and maintenance schedules.
- Report any deviations or anomalies to senior microbiologists.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field
- Experience: 0-4 years
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of microbiological principles and laboratory techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Good manual dexterity and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Basic computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite
- Prior laboratory experience (academic or industrial) is an added advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards is desirable
