Key Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of pesticide residues in food and feed samples as per validated methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine calibration and performance verification of LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS systems.
- Maintain and manage certified reference standards, including inventory control, storage conditions, and expiry tracking.
- Perform measurement of uncertainty.
- Ensure accurate documentation of analytical data, calibration records, maintenance logs, and quality control results.
- Adhere to laboratory quality systems and safety procedures.
- Participate in method validation, proficiency testing, and internal quality assurance activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience
- Experience in operating analytical instruments such as LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality systems, analytical documentation, calibration, and method validation is preferred.
