General Instructions
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and female candidates will be applicable as per Government of India (GOI) and CSIR rules.
- Waitlisted candidates may be considered for future project vacancies arising within one year from the date of the interview, based on the order of merit.
Mode of Selection
- Interested and eligible candidates should report to CSIR–National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST), Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram at 09:00 AM on the date specified for the respective post code.
- Candidates reporting after 09:30 AM will not be considered.
- Only candidates whose final results have been declared on or before the date of the walk-in interview will be eligible to participate.
- A written test may be conducted if considered necessary.
How to Apply
- Download the prescribed application form from the CSIR-NIIST website.
- Fill in all the required details and affix a recent passport-size photograph.
- Submit the signed application form at the time of the walk-in interview.
- Attach self-attested copies of all relevant certificates and mark sheets (from Matriculation onwards) in support of:

- Experience
- Caste (if applicable)
- Bring all original certificates and testimonials for verification at the time of the interview.

- Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria under Government of India instructions are encouraged to attend the walk-in interview.
