Job Duration

Initially for 1 year with 3 months probation. The appointment is contractual and may be renewed based on project requirements until project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform human cell culture and maintenance.
  • Conduct stem cell reprogramming experiments.
  • Carry out directed differentiation of stem cells into specialized cell types.
  • Perform CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing.
  • Execute molecular cloning and related laboratory techniques.
  • Support research activities under the project at the School of Biological Sciences.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • PhD in Life Sciences
  • Biotechnology
  • Molecular Biology
  • Genetics
  • Stem Cell Biology
  • Or any related discipline

Experience

Applicants must have:

  • Minimum 1 year of demonstrated research experience in one or more of the following:
    • Human cell culture and maintenance
    • Stem cell reprogramming
    • Directed differentiation of stem cells
    • CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing
    • Molecular cloning
