About the Role
GoKhana is hiring an Executive – HSEQ to support food safety, quality assurance, health, safety, environment, and compliance activities across its operations. The role involves conducting food safety audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing food safety management systems, and coordinating with internal teams and clients to maintain quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Food Safety audits as per FSSAI requirements.
- Conduct monthly audits, including Catering, Base Kitchen, and Live Kitchen audits.
- Submit audit reports within two working days.
- Follow up on non-conformity (NC) closure for both internal and external audits.
- Ensure corrective actions for identified non-conformities are implemented effectively.
- Support the preparation and coordination of external audits.
- Conduct training as per the Training Calendar and maintain monthly training records.
- Handle food incidents through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Investigation Audits.
- Recommend and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of food incidents.
- Verify the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.
- Coordinate with existing and new clients regarding HSEQ-related matters.
- Support the mobilization of new sites by ensuring compliance with HSE and QA processes.
- Minimize customer complaints by establishing effective control measures for food safety hazards at vendor and base kitchens.
- Implement the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) through regular kitchen inspections, sanitation monitoring, and hygiene practices.
- Maintain and update food safety and quality records.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized university:
- Food Science and Technology
- Microbiology
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed an Accredited Lead Auditor Course in Food Safety Management Systems such as:
- ISO 22000
- FSSC 22000
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of the FSSAI Act and Regulations.
- Understanding of hygiene and sanitary practices.
- Knowledge of food processing and operational practices.
- Familiarity with allergen management.
- Certified Internal Auditor in ISO 22000 and/or HACCP.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
