- Department: Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare
- Number of Vacancies: Nine
- Reservation Position: UR-06, SC-02, ST-01
- PwBD Suitability: 40% & Above (various categories as specified in the details)
- Pay Scale: Level-07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
- Age: 30 years for UR and 35 years for SC/ST. Age relaxable upto 10 years for PwBD.
- Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Microbiology from a recognized University or Institute; OR
- M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology; OR
- M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in various specified fields.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in relevant disciplines.
- Two years’ experience in research and development of biofertilizers and organic farming.
- Duties:
- Quality Control of Biofertilizers/Organic fertilizers.
- Organization of training programmes, webinars, and conferences.
- Assist in handling certification systems and technical literature development.
- Other Details: The post is permanent and under General Central Service Group-“B” Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
- Probation: Two Years.
- Headquarters: Ghaziabad and liable to serve anywhere in India.
2. Regional Director (Vacancy No. 26060602213)
- Location: National Centre for Organic and Natural Farming, Ghaziabad
- Department: Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare
- Number of Vacancies: Two
- Reservation Position: (UR-01, OBC-01)
- PwBD Suitability: 40% & Above (various categories as specified in the details)
- Pay Scale: Level-12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
- Age: 50 years for UR and 53 years for OBC. Age relaxable upto 10 years for PwBD (Subject to the Maximum age limit of 56 years).
- Essential Qualifications: MSc in Microbiology, Botany, or Agriculture with specialization in specified fields.
- Experience: Ten years’ experience in R&D of Biofertilizer and Organic Farming with two years in administration.
- Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D. in subjects specified in essential qualifications.
- Duties:
- Development and promotion of organic agriculture.
- Quality control and efficacy testing of fertilizers.
- Coordinating training programs and government scheme evaluations.
- Other Details: The post is permanent and under General Central Service Group-“A” Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
- Probation: One Year.
- Headquarters: Ghaziabad with allowance to serve anywhere in India.
