Project Overview
Applications are invited for the position of Project Research Associate under a research project funded through the Bridge Grant Scheme of the Institute of Eminence (IoE), Banaras Hindu University.
The selected candidate will contribute to ongoing research activities in the field of animal and reproductive biology, including laboratory-based molecular studies and cell culture-related investigations. The appointment is purely temporary and will remain valid for the sanctioned duration of the project.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess:
- An M.Sc. degree in any of the following disciplines:
- Zoology
- Life Sciences (Animal Sciences)
- Biochemistry
- Biotechnology
- Related Biological Sciences
- A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
- Maximum age of 40 years as on the closing date of application.
Age Relaxation
Relaxation of 5 years is applicable for:
- SC candidates
- ST candidates
- Female candidates
Preference will be provided to SC/ST candidates in accordance with Government of India norms, provided all other qualifications are comparable.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Preference will be given to candidates possessing:
- Strong knowledge of Mammalian Reproductive Physiology.
- Hands-on experience in Molecular Biology Techniques.
- Experience in Cell Line Maintenance and Cell Culture Techniques.
- Prior laboratory research experience in relevant biological sciences.
