Position Overview
The Nutrition Officer will be responsible for promoting and detailing the organization’s infant nutrition product portfolio to healthcare professionals, including doctors and other medical practitioners, within the assigned territory. The role requires ensuring compliance with applicable industry regulations and company guidelines while fostering strong professional relationships with healthcare stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scientific and product detailing of infant nutrition products to doctors and healthcare professionals (HCPs) within the assigned territory.
- Ensure all promotional and recommendation activities are carried out in accordance with the Indian Code and Infant Milk Substitute (IMS) Code.
- Execute high-quality promotional activities, including product detailing sessions, scientific discussions, and symposiums, in line with company standards and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to improve product visibility, availability, and market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals to support awareness and understanding of the company’s nutrition products.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry developments, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Biology, Zoology, Microbiology, Botany, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry
Experience
- Minimum 2 to 7 years of experience in a field sales role within the Nutrition or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in healthcare professional engagement and scientific product promotion will be preferred.
