About the Project
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India funded research project titled:
“Catalytic Transformation of Lactose and Enzymatic Production of High-Value Biomolecules”
The project is being undertaken in collaboration with BRIC-National Agri-Food and Biomanufacturing Institute, Mohali, Punjab.
The selected candidates will be based at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU), Gandhinagar. The appointments are purely temporary and will remain valid only for the duration of the project. The positions are co-terminus with the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to research activities related to catalytic transformation of lactose and enzymatic production of high-value biomolecules.
- Assist in experimental design, execution, data collection, and analysis.
- Maintain accurate research records and documentation.
- Support project-related reporting, presentations, and scientific publications.
- Collaborate with project investigators and partner institutions to achieve project objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MSc. in any branch of biological sciences from any reputed university with NET /
GATE qualified. - Candidates with DBT- category I and II are eligible as per funding
agency rules.
