- Position Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF/PhD Position)
- Laboratory: Integrative Pollinator Biology Lab
- Project Title: Anthropogenic Stress and the Apibiome: A Multi-species Study of Microbial Shifts, Physiological Markers, and Experimental Transplants in Indian Bees
- Funding Agency: ANRF Early Career Research Grant
- Project Duration: 3 Years
- PI: Dr. Reshma Basak
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys and biological sample collection.
- Study bee behaviour and ecology.
- Assist in microbiome and molecular ecology experiments.
- Analyze scientific data and research findings.
- Support project execution and documentation.
- Participate in collaborative research activities.
Essential Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Ecology, Zoology, Entomology, Microbiology, or related fields
- Strong aptitute for fieldwork and insect biology
- Physically fit for multi-region field conditions across India
Desirable
- NET/GATE qualification preferred
- Molecular biology experience a plus
- Training will be provided
Fellowship
- NET/GATE qualified: ₹37,000 + HRA (Yrs 1–2) | ₹42,000 + HRA (Yr 3)
- Without NET/GATE: As per ANRF norms
