Job Overview

Service Requirements
Option 1
Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department.
Option 2
Having completed 2 years of regular service in:
- Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400) in the Pay Matrix, or
- Equivalent level in the parent cadre/department.
Option 3
Having completed 6 years of regular service in:
- Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400) in the Pay Matrix, or
- Equivalent level in the parent cadre/department.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess the educational qualifications and experience prescribed for direct recruitment under Column (7) of the Recruitment Rules for Drugs Inspector (Medical Device) notified vide:

Important Notes
Note 1
Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation.
Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
Note 2
The period of deputation, including any deputation period in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding the appointment in the same or another Central Government organization or department, shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
Note 3
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents along with the prescribed application form:
- Duly filled and signed application in the prescribed format (Annexure-II), countersigned and sealed by the Cadre/Appointing Authority.
- Attested copies of APARs/ACRs for the last five (5) years, attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India.
- Integrity Certificate.
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
- Statement of major or minor penalties, if any, imposed during the last ten (10) years of service.
- Certificate confirming that the particulars furnished by the candidate have been verified and found correct as per service records.
