Applications are invited from eligible candidates to work on a contract basis in a research project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry.
Job Details
- Post Name: Project Technical Support – II
- Number of Vacancies: 01
- Salary: Rs. 20,000 + 20% HRA per month
No other allowances are payable - Age Limit: 30 years (as on the last date of receipt of applications)
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of SOP’s for project experiments on LCMS/HPLC.
- Maintain lab inventory and laboratory supplies.
- Assist in equipment purchases and maintenance.
- Coordination with the study team for the proper functioning of the study.
- Assist in sample collection activities.
- Develop reporting procedures and generate monthly reports on lab activities and study progress.
- Maintain all documents and records related to the study.
- Conduct periodic audits and quality checks, and assist in preparing annual reports.
- Assist in research data analysis, writing reports, and preparing manuscripts.
Qualifications
Minimum Essential Qualification
12th with Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT or equivalent) + Five years experience in relevant subject/field
OR
Three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject/field + two years of experience in a relevant subject.

Experience
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
PG in the relevant subject/field with prior experience in clinical research.
Experience in phlebotomy/blood collection from patients.

- Knowledge of laboratory quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
- Basic Computer skills in MS Office, Excel, MS Word, and PPT.
- Basic knowledge of research database, clinical, and laboratory data entry.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in working as a team member.
- Good working knowledge of GCP and GLP.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CVs. An
- MCQ-based screening test may be conducted depending on the number of applicants.
