This recruitment is for a Quality Engineer position supporting the GLIMS Laboratory Information Management System, a critical platform used by healthcare laboratories across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and maintain detailed test cases, test suites, and test plans in Azure DevOps.
- Perform functional testing for corrective fixes and enhancements across GLIMS versions.
- Investigate defects by exploring edge cases and boundary conditions.
- Contribute to test reporting and quality status communication.
- Develop a deep functional understanding of the GLIMS application.
- Execute functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure quality from the start.
- Support test automation initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation and review of functional requirements.
- Continuously improve testing approaches and documentation.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a software product environment.
- Experience with test automation and AI tools is a vital asset.
- Experience with healthcare, laboratory, LIS, LIMS, or similar domains is advantageous.
Skills Required
- Clear communication and the confidence to challenge assumptions are essential.
- Proven experience writing and maintaining test cases in Azure DevOps.
- Strong AI-first mindset with hands-on experience in AI tools.
- Experience in test automation is essential, preferably with UiPath or JRuby RSpec.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Experience with healthcare applications is preferred.
- Ability to translate complex workflows into effective test scenarios.
- Experience working closely with development teams across the SDLC.
- Strong English communication skills.
