- Position Title: Senior Research Fellow/Project Associate-II

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in plant host-pathogen interaction.
- Collaborate with the research team to achieve project objectives.
Emoluments
₹ 42,000/- plus 27% HRA per month as per norms and as sanctioned in the project.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences with at least 55% (or equivalent) marks in master’s degree.
- Minimum of two years post M.Sc. research experience.
- Experience in plant host-pathogen interaction (a shortlisting criterion).
- Candidates with NET qualification as per DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019 and SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020 are eligible to apply.
- Upper age limit for PA-II is 35 years.
Terms & Conditions
- The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Initial appointment will be for one year or till the tenability of the project, whichever is earlier. This can be curtailed/extended based on performance.
- NIPGR reserves the right to select candidates based on qualifications and experience.
- Reservation of posts is as per Govt. of India norms.
- Appointment may be terminated with one month’s notice from either side.
- No claim for regular position at NIPGR is implicit or explicit.
