Overview
The Scientist – Bioanalytical Team role focuses on supporting bioanalytical research and development activities involving protein interaction studies, bioassay development, and analytical platform enhancement. The position requires expertise in bioanalytical techniques, experimental design, data analysis, and laboratory documentation practices within a collaborative research environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform protein-protein interaction studies using techniques such as: Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), Biolayer Interferometry (BLI), ELISA-based assays
- Conduct kinetic experiments involving both small and large molecules.
- Perform competition studies, epitope binning, and quantitation analysis using Biacore and Octet platforms.
- Develop ELISA-based methods for large molecule bioanalysis.
- Contribute to the establishment of new analytical processes, innovation initiatives, and platform development activities.
- Plan, design, execute, troubleshoot, and complete experiments and project activities within defined timelines.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret analytical results, and present findings during client and internal meetings.
- Participate in discussions related to project strategies, operational challenges, and risk mitigation.
- Communicate analytical results and experimental progress regularly with supervisors and project teams.
- Ensure periodic maintenance and upkeep of laboratory instruments.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation practices, including contemporaneous data recording in electronic laboratory notebooks and adherence to QA requirements.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of protein interaction and kinetic studies.
- Hands-on experience with: Biacore 8K Control Software, Octet Software
- Knowledge of ELISA method development for large molecule bioanalysis.
- Experience in analytical troubleshooting and scientific data interpretation.
