Key Responsibilities
- Work under the Bioseed Research India Pvt Ltd contractual project.
- Conduct insect bioassays and resistance monitoring studies.
- Perform molecular biology techniques and biochemical assays.
- Participate in transgenic event characterization and segregation analysis.
- Carry out statistical/probit analysis and interpretation of experimental data.
- Travel across India if required for project-related activities.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Postgraduates in any relevant life science disciplines.
- OR graduate degree holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences subjects.
Desirable Qualifications:
Candidates having hands-on experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- Insect bioassays
- Resistance monitoring studies
- Molecular biology techniques
- Transgenic event characterization
- Segregation analysis
- Biochemical assays
- Statistical/probit analysis
- Experimental data interpretation
Experience & Skills Needed
- Practical laboratory experience in life sciences research.
- Knowledge of molecular biology and insect resistance studies.
- Analytical and statistical interpretation skills.
- Ability to handle biochemical and transgenic research work.
- Good documentation and research reporting abilities.
- Willingness to travel for project assignments.
Important Terms & Conditions
- The engagement is purely contractual, temporary, and project-based.
- Initial tenure will be one year from the project start date.
- Performance will be reviewed every six months.
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Maximum age: 45 years with relaxation as per rules.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Candidates currently employed must provide a No Objection Certificate.
- Place of work will be ICAR-NBAIR, Bengaluru.
