Key Responsibilities

  • Development of predictive models and machine learning pipelines
  • Research related to image-based disease prediction and assessment applications
  • Work on dry root rot disease and plant combined stress datasets
  • Support computational and bioinformatics research activities

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in:
    • Natural Sciences
    • Agriculture
    • Life Sciences
    • Plant Biology

Experience

  • Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in:

  • Crop plant phenotyping under pot, field-mimic, and field conditions

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in:
    • Natural Sciences
    • Agriculture
    • Life Sciences
    • Plant Biology
    • Botany

Experience

  • Preference for candidates with an Agronomy or equivalent background
  • Experience in crop plants under pot and field conditions is required
  • Research experience in phenotyping and crop maintenance preferred
  • Candidates should fulfill DST guidelines dated July 10, 2020
