Role Overview
The Project Assistant will support research activities under a time-bound project focused on neuroimmune dysfunction and microbial interactions. The role involves laboratory-based work in molecular biology and biochemistry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform molecular biology and biochemistry experiments
- Execute cloning techniques including recombinant DNA technology, PCR cloning, site-directed mutagenesis, TA cloning, and Gateway cloning
- Conduct cell and tissue culture experiments
- Assist in animal handling activities
- Perform DNA, RNA, and protein analysis
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc. / M.Tech in Immunology, Neurology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or related Life Sciences field from a recognized university
Desired Skills & Knowledge
- Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques
- Hands-on experience in cloning and genetic manipulation
- Familiarity with cell culture and laboratory procedures
- Basic understanding of biomolecular analysis techniques
Emoluments
₹20,000 per month + 30% HRA (as per funding agency norms)
