- Position Title: Junior Research Fellow
- Number of Posts: 2 (1 at each location)
- Location: IARI, New Delhi, and IARI Regional Station, Shimla
- Project Title: Pre-breeding for climate-resilient and disease-resistant wheat by harnessing genes from Triticale × Wheat-derived rye chromatin
- Funding Agency: Ignite Life Science Foundation
Essential Qualification
- Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics & Plant Breeding/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/relevant life science discipline with a Bachelor’s degree in any life science discipline.
- Minimum of 60% marks in postgraduation. Must have qualified NET/GATE or any National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments/Agencies/Institutions.
Desirable Qualification
Research experience in microscopy, Fluorescence in situ hybridization, and molecular marker-assisted breeding.
Emolument
- IARI, New Delhi: Rs. 37000/- + 27% HRA (1st and 2nd year); Rs. 42000/- + 27% HRA (3rd year)
- IARI RS, Shimla: Rs. 37000/- + 10% HRA (1st and 2nd year); Rs. 42000/- + 10% HRA (3rd year)
