- Position Title: Project-JRF
- No. of Position: One (01)
- Title of the Project: Investigating non-host resistance mechanisms in mungbean for broad-spectrum immunity to fungal diseases.
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Divya Chandran, Professor, RCB, Faridabad
- Duration: Initially for a period of up to one year, extendable till the duration of the project, subject to extension of the project and upon annual evaluation.
Essential Qualifications
- M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks in qualifying exams and NET or any National-Level JRF eligibility test qualification.
- Practical knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction and gene expression analysis, is essential. A strong motivation and commitment towards research are required.
Desirable Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in cloning, transient expression in plant systems, protein isolation, and Western Blotting is preferred.
Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA% (as applicable) per month
