Job Details:

  • Project Title: “Development of a lateral flow-based immunochromatographic test using recombinant chimera antigen for detection of Neospora caninum infection in cattle.”
  • Position: Project Associate I (under BIRAC Grant)
  • Number of Positions: 1
  • Fellowship Amount: Rs. 31000 + 24% HRA (if applicable) for candidates who have cleared NET, GATE, or undergone a selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
    • For others who do not have NET or GATE, the amount is Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (if applicable), as per the DST guidelines.
  • Age Limit: 35 years
  • Tenure: One year, with a likelihood of extension based on performance. This position is co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Essential Qualification:

  • MSc. / M.Tech. Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Microbiology from a recognised university or equivalent.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in molecular parasitology and molecular biology techniques involving gene cloning and protein purification.
