Job Overview

Lilac Insights is seeking a skilled and motivated Molecular Biologist to join our advanced
diagnostic team. The role involves performing a wide range of molecular techniques with a
strong focus on accuracy, quality, and adherence to established laboratory standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform Qualitative PCR, Quantitative (Real-Time) PCR, and PCR for STR
chimerism.
• Conduct DNA sequencing, Fragment Analysis, and STR Chimerism Analysis.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative PCR data analysis.
• Ensure strict compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Understand, follow, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and reports.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams while managing assigned tasks
independently.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), including:
o NGS library preparation
o Operation and management of sequencing platforms such as Thermo Ion
Torrent and Illumina MGI G-400

• Familiarity with NGS data analysis tools is an added advantage.

Required Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related Life Science disciplines.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in PCR, DNA sequencing, and NGS workflows.
• Hands-on experience in NGS library preparation and sequencer operation.
• Good understanding of regulated laboratory environments.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic laboratory, both
independently and as part of a team.
