Position Available: Senior Project Associate
Job Overview:
- Project Title: ‘Establishment of new and augmentation of existing (A) BSL-3 facilities at the National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi to improve research and diagnostics of existing and emerging bacterial and viral pathogens’ funded by DBT.
- Tenure: Till April 27, 2030
- Project Investigator: Dr. Devinder Sehgal
- Upper Age Limit: 40 years
- Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/ plus 27% HRA per month (As per DST OM SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020).
Educational Requirements:
- M.Sc in any branch of Life Sciences with four-years R&D experience, or PhD in any Branch of Life Sciences.
Desirable Qualifications

Experience working in BSL-3 or ABSL-3 laboratories

Hands-on expertise in:
- Bacterial & viral pathogens
- Mammalian & bacterial cell culture
- Molecular biology methods
- Flow cytometry
- Immunological assays
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling bacterial and viral pathogens in BSL-3/ABSL-3 facilities
- Conducting experiments for SAHAJ (external) users
- Supporting additional tasks as assigned by the Facility In-Charge
