Job Description:

The Diagnostic Executive at AstraZeneca is responsible for supporting the timely, high-quality in-market companion diagnostics/testing solutions to enable optimal patient access and treatment. This role will involve identifying barriers to cancer biomarker testing, executing tactical plans to increase the adoption of appropriate testing, and building relationships with key stakeholders in the medical and diagnostics field.

Major Responsibilities:

• Identify barriers to cancer biomarker testing
• Monitoring testing rate and test failure rate
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders
• Strategic Key Account Management

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Life Sciences/Medical Biotechnology/Pharmacy
• Experience in molecular diagnostic marketing and clinical test selling
• Ability to travel (>50%)

Preferred Requirements:

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Thorough knowledge of diagnostic test development and the regulatory environment
• Proven demonstration of effective cross-functional project team leadership
