About CliCON OEH2025
CliCON OEH2025 comes at a crucial juncture, addressing the urgent and multifaceted health challenges posed by climate change. Rising temperatures, altered precipitation patterns, and the increased frequency of extreme
weather events exacerbate health risks such as heat stress, vector-borne diseases, and respiratory issues. These impacts are particularly severe for vulnerable occupational groups like agricultural and construction workers. Environmental degradation, including the deterioration of water and air quality, further impacts human health, leading to significant economic and social consequences, such as productivity loss, higher healthcare costs, and increased social inequity.CliCON OEH2025 aims to bring together leading experts, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss and address the pressing challenges posed by climate change on occupational and environmental health. This conference will serve as a crucial platform for fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, sharing innovative research, and developing actionable strategies to mitigate the impacts of climate change on workers’ health and the environment.
