Junior Research Fellow
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for a position of Junior Research Fellow to work under a Department of Biotechnology (DBT) Sponsored project on “Development of 3D printed bioactive articular cartilage graft for osteoarthritic/damaged articular cartilage reconstruction: An in-vitro & in-vivo evaluation of graft performance and feasibility for articular cartilage defect either due to trauma or inflammation mediated osteoarthritis” at the Department of Biotechnology, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India.
Eligibility: M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Pharm/MBBS/M.V.Sc in Life sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Tissue Engineering, Nanotechnology, Medicine, Bioscience, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology etc with UGC-NET- including lectureship/GATE/ICMR-JRF/ DBT-BET or any other national level examination conducted by central government department or institutions/agencies will be preferred.
Desirable: Experience in scaffold fabrication, biomaterial processing, mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, confocal microscopy, and animal handling (mouse, rabbit model).
Duration of the project: 3 Years.
