Applications are invited for the position of Project Associate-I/Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under Grant-In-Aid (GIA) scheme of ICMR, Department of Health Research (DHR). Government of India, New Delhi funded research project entitled “A study to generate proof of concept on metabopsy of discarded milk teeth and nail clippings for the
diagnosis of inherited metabolic disorders (IMD)” sanctioned to Prof. Dr. Nilesh Kumar Sharma (Cancer and Translational Research Centre, Dr. D. Y Patil Biotechnology and Biotechnology, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, India). This post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Name of the Position: Project Associate- I/Junior Research Fellow
DURATION:
Initially for One Year, extendable up to duration of the project (total three Years) based on the performance of the candidate
. The selected candidates will be encouraged for Ph.D. program at the Host University.Fellowship:
The selected candidate will be on fixed consolidated remuneration (39,370 INR. Per month) and the scheme is on contractual basis.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
M.Sc. (Biological Science/Biotechnology/Life Sciences)/ M.Tech. (Biotechnology),
B. Tech. (Biotechnology) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. Besides, candidates should have cleared the ICMR-PGI, UGC-CSIR, DBT National Eligibility Test, or equivalent as per the eligibility criteria of ICMR-DST.
