Bio-CPS EIR Program

(Last Date of Application – 14th November 2022, 18:00 Hrs. IST)

BITS BioCyTiH Foundation is launching Bio-Cyber-Physical System Entrepreneur-in-Residence program (Bio-CPS EIR) to encourage and inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship among young innovators and to partially de-risk their entrepreneurial journey. The proposed innovation must have promising application(s) in Healthcare, Agriculture, Water and / or Environment sector.

Preference shall be given to the technologies / products based on components; such as but not limited to; Sensors & Actuators, Internet-of-Things (IoT) platforms, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Cyber Security Systems, Image Analytics, Robotics &; Automation, Microfluidics, Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS).

Salient features of the Bio-CPS EIR Program are as follows:

A. Offerings

1. Monthly fellowship of Rs. 50,000/- for the period of six months.
2. Opportunity to win cash prizes up to Rs. 5,00,000/-
3. Business advisory, mentoring, networking opportunities, industry connects, and guidance on IP, legal and team-building aspects of venture creation.

B. Eligibility

1. Budding entrepreneurs with start-ups registered after 14th November 2020 OR Individual innovators with entrepreneurial aspirations.
2. Graduates / Post-graduates / Final year students / PhD Scholars from any stream of Science or Engineering.
3. Innovations based on components such as; Sensors & Actuators, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Image & Data Analytics, Robotics, etc.
