A walk-in-interview shall be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 12.00 noon. to 02.00 pm. at Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS), 1300 Rajdanga Main Road, Kasba, Kolkata – 700107 for recruitment in the post of Project Personnel (3 nos.) for a project funded by the Government of West Bengal.
1. Minimum qualification and experience for Project Personnel (Post 1) (No. of Vacancy – 1)
- First class graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
- Efficiency and experience in handling DBMS and EXCEL management with expertise in
relevant computer language. - Reading, writing and verbal proficiency in Bengali, English and Hindi
- Minimum 2 (two) years experience in a similar kind of work
Desirable –
- Experience in conducting online educational activities.
- Experience in organizing online and offline workshops, and conferences with experience in handling big datasets.
Age – Maximum 40 (forty) years on the day of this advertisement
Remuneration – Consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.30,000.00 (Thirty thousand) only. No other allowances and/or benefits shall be admissible. The job is contractual in nature.
Duration of contract – 12 (Twelve) months from the date of appointment. However, the service may be terminated with one month’s notice if either the project is discontinued or the performance of the candidate is found unsatisfactory.
2. Minimum qualification and experience for Project Personnel (Post 2) – (No. of Vacancy:1)
- Good academic record with a PhD degree in Science / Engineering. from a recognized university / Institute.
- Computer proficiency e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. along with considerable
expertise in presentation/communication. - Experience in data handling, flyer designing, webcasting, organizing webinars and conversant with other relevant modes of online/digital communication.
- Reading, writing and verbal proficiency in Bengali, English and Hindi. He/She shall be competent to carry out digital documentation and content development in English as well as in Bengali.
- Experience in a similar kind of work is preferable.

- Any higher educational/professional qualification or experience
- Experience in organizing online and offline workshops, and conferences in the field of science and technology.
Age – Maximum 40 (forty) years on the day of this advertisement

- Experience in data handling, flyer designing, webcasting, organizing webinars and conversant with other relevant modes of online/digital communication including social media
- Reading, writing and verbal proficiency in Bengali, English and Hindi. He/She shall be competent to carry out digital documentation and content development in English as well as in Bengali.
- Experience in a similar kind of work is preferable.

- Experience in organizing workshops, conferences in the field of science and technology, and science communication.

Candidates should bring all original testimonials in support of age, educational qualification and work experience and one recent passport-size photograph along with a biodata. Also, a set of copies of all the documents shall be required at the time of the interview.
