Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) funded project
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Junior Research
Fellow (JRF), Lab Technician (LT) in the following CCRAS funded project in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Medicine, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070, India.
Project Title: “Study the physiological basis and gut bacterial modulations induced by
Virechana (Purgation therapy) in healthy adults: A prospective longitudinal study”
Duration: 3 years (initial appointment will be only for 1 year which will be extended based on performance)

Post II
Job Title: Lab Technician
No.of Posts: 01
Age Limit: Below 30 years, 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Female candidates as

For Post I
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 35000/- plus HRA
Essential: 1st class M.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Botany etc from a recognized university along with NET/GATE or any other equivalent National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and
their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR,
ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc with a minimum of 2 years of research experience
Desirable: Experience in hospital-based clinical research.
For Post II
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 18000/- consolidated
Essential: 1st class B.Sc (preferably in life sciences/biochemistry/microbiology)
and /or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Techniques (DMLT) from a recognized university with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory should apply.
Desirable: Experience with working on stool samples for microbial analysis.
