General Terms & Conditions:
- Engagement will be originally for a duration of one year, and also might be extended or curtailed depending upon the project requirement, and also desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
- The tenure of Project Staff will be co-terminus with the project. Nonetheless, under no circumstances the tenure would certainly be allowed to exceed 5 years duration. The performance of the Project Staff would certainly be reviewed periodically to make sure that any one not found as much as the mark, could be terminated.
- All these positions are short-term and, therefore, will certainly not confer any right on the incumbent to any kind of claim, implicit or explicit on any kind of post in CSIR-IITR/CSIR.
- On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to make an application for engagement in another project, he/she will certainly need to go via the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the brand-new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the brand-new project would certainly be made only after
submission of resignation and also “No Demand Certificate” in the previous project. - Wherever possible accommodation will certainly be provided to project staff, if accommodation is not possible, HRA will be paid according to guidelines. If accommodation is provided, the license fee would be deducted according to CSIR rules.
- The Project Staff will be allowed to avail leave and dispensary facility, according to guidelines.
- The Institute provides canteen facilities as is being provided for regular staff members on payment of suitable charges.
- Experience, where needed, will be counted from acquiring minimum educational qualification.
- Final semester and also results awaited candidates will certainly not be allowed to appear for Interview.
- TA/DA will certainly not be paid for reporting to duty.
- Age relaxation will certainly be admissible to 5 years in the case of applicants coming from Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/OBC, Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female candidates as per CSIR/Funding Agency Guidelines.
- The date for determining age/qualification and experience will be the last date of on-line application.
- The engagement in these projects will not confer any kind of right implicit or explicit on the applicant for consideration for regularization against any kind of CSIR/IITR post(s).
