Applications are welcomed from qualified candidates (Indian Nationals only) in the attached format (Form B, should fill up the items in bold) for the following position in the SERB funded project entitled “Elucidation of structural and functional properties of family-18 CAZyme( s)…. bioactive chitooligosaccharides”.
Job Name: Project Assistant
No. of Posts: 1 position
Period: 06 months (Up to April-2021) (may be extended depending on performance)
Age limit: 28 years

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Molecular Microbiology/ Life Sciences/or comparable with a minimum of 70% aggregate marks.
Desirable Qualification: Candidates having laboratory experience in molecular microbiology, gene cloning, protein production using bacterial and Pichia overexpression systems as well as protein purification techniques will certainly be favoured. Experience in protein structure modelling as well as docking will certainly be an added advantage. The candidates with prior work experience in a similar/relevant area will certainly be favoured in the first screening.
Consolidated pay per month: Rs. 20,000/-
