Job Description:

• To carry out Steam/Dry Heat sterilization cycles.
• To prepare, sterilize and dispense media and also carry out growth promo test of the same.
• To perform sampling and also analysis of finished product for Microbiological tests.
• To perform sampling as well as analysis of water for Microbiological and also Chemical tests.
• To monitor cleaning as well as waste disposal of the Microbiology lab.
• To perform Environmental monitoring of Controlled areas in Microbiology lab as well as in the manufacturing area.
• To maintain microbial cultures.
• To perform internal calibration of instruments.
• To review instruments/equipment annual maintenance contract as well as coordinate with an external party for validation and also calibration activities.
• To prepare and review analytical data.
• To maintain an inventory of instrument’s spares, apparatus, media as well as chemicals.
• To follow up to engineering dept related to electrical, instrument and general maintenance.
• To implement Laboratory excellence/ agile projects for overall department excellence.
• Accountable for the safe operation of the facility, their own safety and safety of various other co-workers.
