Overview

The Young Professional-I (Public Health) will support the implementation and research activities under the “DRISTI Bharat Tribal Health Observatory” project at ICMR-National Institute of Health Research. The role is intended for candidates with academic backgrounds in Life Sciences or Public Health who are interested in contributing to tribal health research and public health initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

• Post Graduate Degree in:
  • Life Science subjects
  • Public Health

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 30 years as on the date of the walk-in interview.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per ICMR rules and government guidelines.

Tenure of Engagement

Initial appointment will be for 1 year. Extendable annually for up to 3 years total (1+1+1), based on project requirements and satisfactory performance evaluation.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based primarily on interview performance.
• If required, a written test or assignment may also be conducted before the interview.
• Shortlisting will be based on educational qualifications and relevant experience.
