How to Apply:
- Above positions are totally short-term and may be terminated by the Director, ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow without assigning any reasons at any kind of stage. The same can be extended on half annual basis on candidate’s every 06-monthly performance assessment and fund availability.
- The tenure and also service conditions of YP will certainly be governed by ICAR standards.
- Just the applicants, who satisfy all the qualification conditions, will be invited to appear for online interview (platform ZOOM).
- Place of work will certainly be at ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow or any of its unit, according to need.
- All invited candidates are asked to be present 10 mins before scheduled time on the date of online Interview and also wait before admitted to the session by the admin.
- Canvassing in any type will certainly disqualify the candidature.
- The selection will be based on academic performance, research experience as well as performance during the online interview.
- Where ever age-related relaxations are claimed, on account of category & previous employment or any other as applicable under GOI standards, the certificates to be sent along with documents.
- The decision of Director, ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow will certainly be final and also binding in all aspects.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 49,000 to Rs. 54,000/- + HRA (as per eligibility)

Essential Qualification:
- With a Doctoral Degree: PhD in the Fishery Science or Veterinary Science or Life Sciences with specialization in biotechnology or microbiology or
immunology. OR - Master’s Degree: in Fishery Science or Veterinary Science or Life Sciences with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship /Training/other engagements as circulated vide F.No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- +HRA per month for I & II year and Rs. 35,000/-+HRA 3rd year onwards per month
Age Limit: 35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates.
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Fishery Science or Veterinary Science or Life Sciences with specialization in microbiology or biotechnology or immunology with
4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree candidates having post graduate degree in Life Sciences with specialization in biotechnology or microbiology or animal diseases or immunology with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification as mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z-09/2012 of DST dated 21.10.2014.
