The Government of Israel is Very Happy to offer scholarships to overseas students, as agreed in the Cultural Agreements between Israel and the next countries:

Argentina, Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Canada (Quebec Province), China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, Latvia, Mexico, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Republic of Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain and Turkey.

These Nations have a particular student arrangement:

Belgium, Denmark, Germany, India, Great Britain, Finland, France, Japan, Norway, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Russia.

Different kinds of scholarships are available (not accessible for veterinary and medicine studies):
1. Summer language classes (Ulpan)
2. 1 academic year (October to June) for a maximum of eight weeks (M.A., Ph.D..  Post Doctorate or research studies).

The Summer Language Course Contains:

1. Complete tuition prices
2. Dormitories
3. 3 weeks’ allowance
4. Standard health insurance*

*As stated by the bilateral arrangements between Israel, Poland and the Czech Republic, health insurance isn’t included.

• Accommodation, transport and travel arrangements to and from Israel will be the applicant’s duty.
• Scholarships will be awarded just for research in universities and applications approved by the Israeli Council for Higher Education.
• Scholarships for Ulpan speech studies will be awarded from the Ulpan selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

• The last date for the submission of application forms is generally no later than November 30.
• Final decision concerning the awarding of a scholarship will be made around July of every year.
• The MFA will inform the candidate of their approval to the scholarship program.
