A walk in interview will be held for filling up of TWO temporary positions of Research Assistant on contractual basis for CABI-TRA Project entitled “A move towards a more ecological approach to tea production” and NTRF Project entitled “Sensitivity of tea looper, Hyposidra talaca (Walker), to commonly used insecticides and developing integrated resistance management (IRM) strategy for the pest in tea plantations of Assam” at Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Tea Research Association, Jorhat, Assam. Intending candidates having requisite qualifications may appear the interview with one copy of bio-data, original certificates and other testimonials as per date, time and venue mentioned below:
(i) For CABI-TRA Project:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate preferably in Life Science
- Remuneration : Rs. 7000 (fixed) per month
(ii) For NTRF Project:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate preferably in Life Science
- Remuneration: Rs. 10000+10% HRA

The appointments will be purely on temporary basis and hence the Institute will not provide
any employment after completion of the project period. The position may be terminated without any notice at any time by the authority. No TA /DA or any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
