Job Title : Research Associate – NIPT
Location : Bangalore
Job responsibilities include but not restricted to
- Sample Receiving from customer support and further management of the sample
- DNA extraction protocols and sample QC
- Library preparation for Next Generation Sequencing
- Strictly abiding to good Lab practices and good team work
- Maintain meticulous record of laboratory work,
- Updating the laboratory work in LIMS in compliance to Company policies
- Ready to work in a shift system
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager or management
Desired experience and expertise :
- BSc with DMLT or an MSc from any stream of life Science from a recognised University
- BSc with DMLT should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience and an MSc with 2 years experience in a diagnostic lab
- Good communication and English speaking skills
- Keen to learn and understand lab related tasks
You will also be expected to have:
- Excellent communication, written and presentation skills
- “Roll-up-your-sleeves” entrepreneurial, start-up attitude
- The ability to work across teams and functions effectively
