The National Institute of Immunology (NII) is committed to advanced research addressing the basic mechanisms involved in body’s defence to identify modalities for manipulation of the immune system to provide protection against diseases and understand mechanisms that can be used to target disease processes for intervention.

NAME OF THE POST : Senior Research Fellow (Project)
(Two Positions only)

DURATION : 1) Post No. 1 for 3 months (Three months only), 2) Post No. 2 for 6 months (Six months only)

NAME OF THE PROJECT : “J. C. Bose Fellowship” funded by SERB

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : M.Sc. in any area of Biological Sciences with two years of research experience. The candidate must be NET Qualified.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Post 1): Strong background and knowledge of Biochemistry, Bio-synthetic pathways, Chemical Biology and Mass Spectrometry.

Post 2): Background in Enzymology and Protein Chemistry with experience in Peptide Synthesis.

EMOLUMENTS : Rs. 28,000/- per month plus 30% HRA (As per DST OM dated 21.10.2014)
