The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is a university in the city of Vadodara, in Gujarat state, India. Originally known as the Baroda College of Science, it became a university in 1949 after the independence of the country. It was later renamed after its benefactor Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, the former ruler of Baroda State belonging the royal Gaekwad dynasty of the Marathas.
It is a teaching and residential university and the only university in Gujarat whose medium of instruction is English for all courses. The University has Faculty Of Sciences, which is recognized as one of the renowned Science Departments in India, having maximum number of Staffs to Students in Department of Physics in India.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed format for the following post in the University Health Centre, The M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara to be filled on purely temporary basis:
Name of the post: Temporary Laboratory Technician
Qualification: B.Sc. in Microbiology or Biochemistry and one year certificate D.M.L.T course from any government approved institution
Experience: Minimum two years from a reputed pathology laboratory
Duration: 11 months
Working Hours: 10.00 am to 3.00 pm and 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm
Salary: Rs. 13,500 per month
Age Limit: Up to 50 years

- Application should be accompanied by a fee in the form of a bank draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.125/- for SC/ST candidates) in favor of The Registrar, The M. S. University of
Baroda. No amount will be accepted through cheque, cash. - The envelope containing the application should be superscribed with the name of the post applied for.
- Candidate should possess the required qualifications on the last date of application.
