The St. John’s Research Institute (SJRI) is a part of the St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, which is run by the CBCI Society for Medical Education. Post: Technician
Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Biochemistry

- Preference for candidates who have experience in handling the Gas/Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry based instrumentation
Core Responsibilities:
- In Lab – assisting the study coordinator during experimentation
- Collection of samples, analysis, setting up the assays on various metabolites and data interpretation for ongoing projects
Specific Activities:
- In Lab – sample analysis of various ongoing projects (development of new biochemical assays)
- Handling GCMS, IRMS, LCMS and HPLC instruments
- Assisting the study coordinator in setting up new experiments / assays and carrying out ongoing protocols
