Project Overview
This internship project focuses on developing a systematic strategy for identifying and repurposing drugs for psychiatric disorders. The project integrates transcriptomic, interactomic, spatial, functional, and network-level biological insights to move beyond traditional drug discovery approaches.
The work involves computational and systems biology methods to explore novel therapeutic opportunities in psychiatry.
Intern Roles & Responsibilities
Selected interns will be involved in:
- Literature review and scientific data collection
- Drug compilation and annotation
- Drug–disease transcriptomic analysis
- Figure preparation and visualization
- Data interpretation and synthesis of findings
- Supporting systems biology and bioinformatics workflows
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in any Life Sciences discipline.
