Application Process
- Applications must be submitted online only through the CSIR-CECRI website.
- No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Candidates applying for the first time must complete registration using a valid email ID.
- Existing registered candidates can use their login credentials to apply.
- Multiple eligible positions can be applied for through the same portal.
- Candidates must upload all required educational, experience, and category certificates while submitting the application.
Interview
- Mode: Hybrid (Offline & Online)
- Candidates can choose either online or offline interview while submitting the application.
- Interview dates and shortlisted candidates will be announced separately on the CSIR-CECRI website.
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST/PwBD/Women: 5 Years
- OBC: 3 Years
- As per Government of India rules.
General Instructions
- Final year/semester students awaiting results are not eligible.
- Educational qualification, age, and experience will be considered as on 10th July 2026.
- Experience will be counted only after acquiring the prescribed essential qualification.
- In case of a large number of applications, candidates may be shortlisted based on:
- Percentage of marks in essential qualification
- Higher qualifications
- Relevant experience/desirable qualifications
- Any other criteria decided by the screening committee
- Selected candidates may be provided accommodation (subject to availability) or HRA as applicable.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Candidates who have already completed 6 years as Project Staff in CSIR laboratories/institutes are not eligible to apply.
- The initial engagement may be for six months, one year, or project duration, depending on project requirements, and may be extended based on performance, availability of funds, and project needs.
- Selected candidates will not have any claim for regular appointment or absorption in CSIR-CECRI.
- Candidates currently working in CSIR-CECRI or any other CSIR laboratory must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
